Bernie Sanders, The Front-Runner The Mainstream Media Ignores.

I have been watching a lot of mainstream media lately and I must say from the perspective of someone who generally watches independent media I've been noticing a trend in how the mainstream media covers Bernie Sanders they don't, they try to ignore him. It's really that simple. A recent story came out about ABC's coverage of Bernie Sanders they have covered him for a full 7 minutes. Read more here at The Free Beacon. The fact that ABC has only covered him for 7 minutes in 2019 when he is a top tier candidate in the democratic primary is asinine and plays into the blatant media bias against Bernie Sanders, it seems to be helping him build the case that he is the true outsider candidate, luckily he has a rather large online media platform thanks to Facebook and Twitter and YouTube.

In the past having the most cash on hand was considered an indicator of the race and now that Bernie is leading the field they hardly bring it up. To be clear the following are the current stats for the 2020 money race.

Cash on Hand: As of Oct.2019

  1. Bernie Sanders..........................$33.7 Million
  2. Elizabeth Warren.......................$25.7 Million
  3. Pete Buttigieg.............................$23.4 Million
  4. Joe Biden....................................$ 9 Million

The Mainstream media such as CNN, MSNBC, ABC does not view fundraising the same anymore since Bernie is currently in the lead, whereas if any other candidate had $33 million Cash on hand in Q3  they would be shouting it from the rooftops read more about Bernie's record breaking numbers in Q3. Bernie Sanders is the first campaign to reach 4 million individual donations and yet these stories get little to no air time on the mainstream news channels.

If any other candidate was leading the 2020 democratic primary races in three early states the mainstream media would not shut up about it. Bernie Sanders is currently leading New Hampshire, tied for first with Biden in Nevada, and winning from a huge uptick from just 13%  to 24% in California. New Hampshire and Nevada are early states, that can easily build momentum for Bernie and California has the most pledged delegates. To be clear Bernie is doing really well in these states because he has a populist agenda and he has over 1 million active volunteers that's more then any other 2020 candidate, which is another thing the mainstream media fails to report on.

I have complied a small list of independent media YouTube channels which I find helpful when I am looking for a less bias coverage to the primaries as opposed to the mundane mainstream media. This list is not ranked in any particular order and many of the recommended channels are left wing, but they only have the interest of their viewers and not corporations and big sponsors.
